I'm passionate about empowering both children and adults to unleash their creative energy, while having fun and mastering animation techniques.

With over 20 years experience, I thrive on sharing my expertise and connecting with aspiring filmmakers, guiding them into the enchanting world of creative therapy.

Explore Gemma's journey so far and her vision for LET'S ANIMATE.
FROM A YOUNG AGE...
Animation has been my lifelong passion! As a little girl, I would lose myself for hours in my room, experimenting with stop-frame animation and crafting my own models. The thrill of bringing my creations to life was pure excitement!
I often think about the incredible technology we have available today - imagine the wonders I could have created!

The possibilities are endless and I can't wait to share this magic with the next generation of animators!
WORKING IN THE INDUSTRY...
My passion for animation has only grown stronger over the years. In 2007, I proudly completed my animation degree, graduating with
first-class honours.
​
I then stepped into the professional world as a 2D animator at Ragdoll Productions, the renowned creators of Teletubbies and In The Night Garden.
​
This experience paved the way for my journey as a freelance animator, collaborating with esteemed clients like Nestlé, Ladybird, Yahoo
and Munch Bunch.
​
Each opportunity has enriched my skills and deepend my commitment to inspiring others through
the art of animation.
ANIMATION FACILITATION...
During my time as a freelance animator, I discovered a strong interest in teaching others the
art of animation.
I find great fulfilment in inspiring creativity and fostering artistic expression in individuals. Building meaningful relationships with my students is at the heart of this journey, as I believe collaboration enhances the learning experience.

The passion and enthusiasm ultimately led me to establish LET'S ANIMATE, where I can share my knowledge, empower others to explore their creative potential and cultivate a
community of aspiring animators.

Over the years, I have facilitated numerous animation workshops for a diverse array of groups, organisations, schools and individuals, providing everyone with the opportunity to engage in animation as a creative process - whether through a brief session or an extensive course.

As a result hundreds of films have been produced and countless individuals have been inspired
to open their creativity.
