The Workshop

Group Size : One to One Cost : £50 per Hour Would you like to dive deep into the animation process with personalised guidance? Consider booking a LET'S ANIMATE one-to-one session! These sessions are tailored to meet your individual learning needs, whether you prefer a single session or ongoing instruction. You'll receive everything you need to start and continue your animation journey. In these one-to-one sessions, filmmakers are presented with an animation challenge and are encouraged to create an animation based on this theme in a relaxed and supportive environment. From mastering the basics of animation to exploring advanced techniques, our one-to-one sessions cater to all skill levels, helping you develop your skills and express your unique style and vision in the world of animation. CHOOSE AN ANIMATION TECHNIQUE FOR YOUR WORKSHOP Clay Animation - Create an animation from plasticine! Brick Animation - create an animation from Lego! Cut - out Animation - Create an animation from paper cut-outs! WHAT HAPPENS AT A LET'S ANIMATE ONE TO ONE SESSION 1. INTRODUCTION: We will discuss your personal goals and what you hope to learn during the session, identifying how we can best support you on your animation journey. 2. STORY DEVELOPMENT: You will share your creative ideas, and together we’ll brainstorm to devise a short story. We’ll plan and script the narrative to guide your animation. 3. CREATING MODELS & PROPS: Depending on the chosen style, you will: ​Build characters from plasticine, create cut-out characters or select brick figures for animation. 4. ANIMATION TECHNIQUES: You’ll receive an introduction to various animation techniques and learn how to use the equipment necessary for animating your project. 5. ANIMATING & EDITING: You will animate your scenario using the techniques you’ve learned, followed by editing your work and adding sound to enhance your animation. 6. NEXT STEPS: We will discuss potential next steps if you wish to continue your animation journey with additional sessions. AFTER THE WORKSHOP After all workshops, all films will be sent back to you individually via a dropbox link, allowing you to keep and share your creations.
